Ron Morin : Sacred Garden Board Member Diagnosed with Cancer
May 4, 2015 | 3 Comments
One of our own, Ronald Morin, Founding Board of Director for Sacred Garden, Patient Advocate, PTSD Spokesperson, Vietnam Vet, friend, father, son, mentor, has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lung Cancer.
One of the great pleasures of working with cannabis, is that it brings people together. We connect on a pure and spiritual level regardless of who we are or where we come from thanks to our common interest in natural medicine. In this community we also see first hand the battles for life that so many are fighting. with the help of cannabis plant medicine.
Ron is doing everything to heal his heart and soul so that he may also beat this terrible disease. Working along with his western medical recommendations, he will also be seeking the healing benefits of cannabis. For the next few months he will be fighting this battle in Maine. We hope and pray for his healing, that he feels no pain, and finds the strength to become cancer free and to release all that is blocking his well being on every level – especially the residual affects of his experience in Viet Nam. We would like to ask that you hold him in your prayers. Please feel free to send cards or notes. We’ll pass them along.
Note from Ron Morin:
I have been a Board Member for Sacred Garden since the beginning and have seen it grow from nothing to the wonderful provider it is today. I want to thank Kelly and Zeke for the opportunity to serve. It has been an honor and privilege to have met all the fine employees at Sacred Garden and to help and meet the great patients that we serve. You all make it more than worthwhile. I hope you will continue to find the care and support that I have found with Sacred Garden and the people that make it what it is. I will miss but appreciate all that they have done for me.
Love you all and may he who watches over you always light your way. Love you the people of New Mexico. Peace
Ronald Morin / Vietnam war veteran and patriotic son
